Attorney Goh Kyungnam completed the Judicial Research and Training Institute in 2002 and began his legal career as an associate judge at the Seoul Central District Court, where he served in civil and criminal appellate divisions from 2005 to 2007. He then served as a presiding judge in the civil division of the Seoul Southern District Court in 2007. From 2008 to 2023, he worked at Bae, Kim & Lee LLC (BKL), one of Korea’s leading law firms, as a member of the Litigation Group (Domestic Disputes), becoming a senior attorney in 2014. In 2023, he returned to his hometown of Jeju Island to serve as the managing partner of Ocean Law Office, and since 2025, he has been a partner at Yehun Law Office.
Over his 15-year tenure at BKL, Attorney Goh handled numerous high-profile and large-scale civil and criminal cases. These included criminal defense for top executives at major conglomerates such as Samsung, SK, Hanwha, and Hyosung, corporate breach of trust cases related to the underpriced sale of Korea Exchange Bank, bribery cases involving senior public officials, election law violations by members of the National Assembly, investment loss claims related to financial products, and large-scale real estate disputes, including a KRW 80 billion building dispute near Yeoksam Station.
