Attorney Jihyo Kim served as a public-service attorney at the Korea Legal Aid Corporation and the Ministry of Justice after completing the Judicial Research and Training Institute. She then worked as an attorney at KCL Law Firm from 2014 to 2017, and as a senior attorney in the construction division of Samsung C&T from 2017 to 2024, before joining Yehun Law Firm as a partner in April 2024.

Through her experience as an attorney at a corporate-specialized law firm and as an in-house counsel at a major Korean corporation, Attorney Kim has handled various tasks needed by businesses. She has not only managed key issues such as management advisory, M&A, HR and labor matters that arise during business operations, but has also achieved many victories in numerous disputes against project owners, JV partners, subcontractors, and other related parties. In particular, she has achieved acquittals and dismissals in many industrial accident cases that occurred during construction, and has led the establishment of safety and health management systems in response to the Serious Accident Punishment Act, achieving various results in the industrial safety and health sector.

Her main areas of practice include general corporate law, M&A, HR and labor relations, industrial safety (including serious accident response), subcontracting and fair trade, construction and real estate, and administrative response, with expertise in various aspects of corporate operations. In addition, based on her long experience as a public-service attorney and private attorney, she also has strengths in general civil, criminal, and administrative litigation.
